2020 Barrel Fermented Chardonnay
Hand harvested fruit from the Doyle Fournier Vineyard on Seneca Lake. Primary fermentation carried out in 100% French Oak barrels with subsequent Malolactic fermentation over several months. Notes of fresh pear and apple on the nose give way to a juicy mouthfeel with hints of butterscotch, lemon rind and toasted nuts. Bracing acidity balance a long and lingering finish to round out this full bodied Chardonnay.
